One of my favorite Mexican places around Madison. Service has always been amazing and food never disappoints. A big menu and good vegetarian options. This is the only place I have ever known to give a free refill on horchata! They don’t skimp out on amount of food, in my case shrimp. Salsa is good, food is good, margaritas good, everything is good and that’s why we come back over and over.
I didn't know what to expect but the food and atmosphere were better than expected. The music was great and lively, the salsa was homemade, and the guacamole was outstanding! Also, get the horchata here...you won't be disappointed. Oh and the food is great!
I have been here over a dozen times and have not been disappointed yet. My favorite dish is the fish tacos with a regular margarita on the rocks. Highly recommend if your looking for great Mexican food.
What a great place! We (party of 4) went for dinner this evening. The service from the server was bar none, some of the best we have had. Very attentive and always checking if we needed anything. My shrimp "la diabla" (spicy) was spicy but not too ... my husband loved his chimichanga (even took home leftovers as did we all because the portions were so much!). Great complimentary chips and salsa. Margaritas (because you have to!) were worth a second round. I know it's a little out of the way for the Madison crowd, but if you want a boost of colorful uplifting decor, great food and even better service, you should check this place out!

Oh, yeah! Our new go-to for Mexican food. Great neighborhood location with engaging, friendly service. The Molcajete is huge (and hot)! The chimichangas are fantastic, and the special dinner is enormously delightful! No agua frescas here, but the horchata is supreme. This place is fun, fast, and fresh! Come for your birthday and get an extra surprise!
Quick service and friendly staff. Margaritas were great, but could have used more ice to keep them colder. The chairs have amazing carvings and paint. Some great art work inside.
Yummy. The atmosphere is wonderful. The service is exceptional. The team is so friendly and happy to make suggestions on the menu. A wide choice eats.
